Survived By: Julie was the wife of John C. “Chris” Van Sciver; and the devoted mother of Austen C. Van Sciver. Julie is survived by her mother and father, Karen and Vincent McDermott; her brother, Vincent and sister-in- law, Andrea (Paratore); brother, Eric; sister, Aubree and brother-in- law, Jeffrey Whalen; nieces, BreAnna Paige and Anna Grace, Jessica, Heather; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins of the McDermott, Van Sciver & Welch, and Maahs families.

Julie Ann (McDermott) Van Sciver of Moorestown passed away peacefully at home after a two-year battle against metastatic breast cancer. She was 46. Julie was the wife of John C. “Chris” Van Sciver; and the devoted mother of Austen C. Van Sciver. Julie is survived by her mother and father, Karen and Vincent McDermott; her brother, Vincent and sister-in- law, Andrea (Paratore); brother, Eric; sister, Aubree and brother-in- law, Jeffrey Whalen; nieces, BreAnna Paige and Anna Grace, Jessica, Heather; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins of the McDermott, Van Sciver & Welch, and Maahs families. Relatives, friends, and colleagues are invited to attend her memorial visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, at Eichel Funeral Home, 8323 Maple Ave., Pennsauken, NJ 08109. Service will follow. Interment will be private.
